WATCH MOVEMENT BETA (β)

Beta is our standard hand-wound movement with date display. Its movement, developed by NOMOS Glashütte, is so different that it was granted a patent. While other mechanical watches with date display are often very clunky and thick, this movement allows the watch to stay elegant and thin: the date ring was not placed on the movement but rather simply around it and the mechanism was built inside the existing movement- a near impossibility. Glashütter specialties like the three-quarter plate, second stop, Glashütte ribbing, sunburst decoration and Langeleist perlage are givens at NOMOS, as is, of course, the exquisite accuracy.
