Alpha is our standard hand-wound movement. "Standard," however, does not mean "normal" here, but rather, for instance, that this movement has no date mechanism. Glashütter specialties like the three-quarter plate, second stop, Glashütte ribbing, sunburst decoration and Langeleist perlage are givens at NOMOS, as is, of course, the exquisite accuracy.
