19.12.2006 Nomos Stylish Reserve Form with a lot of function – four new models in NOMOS Glashütte’s standard program
There have been NOMOS watches with power reserve displays for a while. Now, however, there are four new models all at once. Though all power reserve watches were a) round and derivatives of the Tangente model; b) always bore a white, silver-plated dial; and c) always outfitted with a date display, this is now changing. Soon, there will be NOMOS watches with power reserve indications in square variations (as Tetra models), with anthracite-colored dials, and without date display. Why?
The power reserve indication has proved itself very practical. Those who are reminded of winding their watches don’t run the risk of losing time. In addition, the NOMOS power reserve function lends the watch’s “face” that something special. Those who appreciate such a timepiece don’t necessarily need a date display, however, which will save 470 euros. The fact that the power reserve watches are also now available with anthracite-colored dials and as Tetra models represents a tribute to the increasing demand that NOMOS Glashütte has registered with regard to these watches. And the new models are simply beautiful.
In white and in anthracite the Tangente and Tetra Power Reserve will complete NOMOS Glashütte’s standard program from the fall. The new movement that ticks within them is the manually wound NOMOS movement Gamma. Through the sapphire crystal case back one can admire the three-quarter plate, Glashütte click, Glashütte ribbing, and a good deal of other Glashütte specialties
